A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on January 16, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Two staff were present with eleven children at the onset of inspection. Additional staff arrived during inspection. Five children's records and four staff records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-650-E Description: Based on interview, facility did not ensure there is documentation of all required written policies and procedures. Evidence: On January 16, 2019, there was not documentation of a written policy and procedure that describes how the facility will ensure that each group of children receives care by consistent staff or team of staff members. Plan of Correction: The policy will be created and posted.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-770-B-5 Description: Based on interview, facility did not ensure the emergency preparedness plan has documentation of all required components. Evidence: On January 16, 2019, the emergency preparedness plan did not address continuity of operations procedures to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency. Plan of Correction: The emergency plan will be updated and posted.
