An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today after school. There are 71 children present with 6 staff. 4 staff records were reviewed for specific items only. The full files are reviewed at the main office at another time. 4 children's records were reviewed. See violation notice for missing information. Children were observed finishing snack, washing hands, participating in a variety of activities, transitioning to the gym and back to the room from the library. First aid supplies, emergency supplies, emergency evacuation drills and posted menu are all in compliance. A Subsidy Heakth and Safety Inspection was also conducted today.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-C Description: Based on a review of medications, one long term authorization is unacceptable. Evidence: The medication for authorization child #1 has been altered to remove one medication, after the doctor completed the form. Plan of Correction: I will ask the parent to completed a new form.
