Discussion was held on the topics of current enrollment, current staffing, and medication.

The following inspection took place between the hours of 9:30 am through 12 pm (noon). Today, I met with the Staff of the Villa Montessori Preschool located in Leesburg, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced renewal inspection there were a total of 54 children with 10 staff; good ratios in all 4 rooms. A total of 5 children?s files and 5 staff files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: center activities within their classroom, learning, song, music, circle time, bathroom break, hand washing, large motor activities outside on center playground, lunch, and other organized activities. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on review, 1 of 5 children's files reviewed indicated that not all of the required information/documentation was contained within each child's record. Evidence - 1. On the date of inspection (01/16/2019), documentation that the Proof of Identification had been reviewed and completed for Child #5 was not available for review. 2. The start date for Child #5 was listed as 07/02/2018. 3. The center had documentation on file that indicated that the Parent of Child #5 was emailed pertaining to this need on 12/07/2018. Plan of Correction: Further contact with the Parent of Child #5 shall be administered with a follow-up email and/or in person. This information/documentation shall be reviewed and completed. This documentation shall then be placed on file.
