Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced renewal inspection conducted today, January 24, 2019. The on-site inspection was conducted from 10:55a.m. to 1:45p.m. On this date, there were 16 children in the care of two staff members in one classroom. There were a total of 17 children enrolled in the preschool program. Five children's records were reviewed and two staff members' records were checked for updates. Two staff members and four children were interviewed. There was no medication on-site. Lunch was served by the elementary school and was observed to meet USDA guidelines. All interactions between the teachers and the children were age appropriate and positive. Some of the items observed and reviewed included: documentation of emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place drills, required posted material, current fire and health inspections, the first aid kit and emergency supplies, warm water temperature, playground, bathroom and hand washing procedures, transitions, lunch, and nap.
