An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted from 7:30 am - 8:45 am. There were 19 children in care being supervised by 2 staff members. The children were observed participating in table top activities, cooperative games, and preparing for breakfast. Breakfast served today is egg and cheese sandwich, cereal, banana, cereal bar, and milk. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Two staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Staff records were reviewed for completion of CPR, First Aid, and Virginia Pre-Service Training. An allergy list was posted for children enrolled in the program with diagnosed food allergies. Allergy Care Plans were reviewed for those children with diagnosed food allergies. The most recent lock down drill was conducted 01/10/2019.
