Technical Assistance:
Discussion regarding infant / toddler sleeping

Comments:
Licensing Inspector arrived at 10:00 and departed at 11:30 AM to conduct a monitoring inspection. At the time of the inspection, there were 14 children (ages infant through preschool) in care with four staff. Children were observed participating in free play activities and circle time activities. Staff and children's records were reviewed. No medication is currently being stored or administered at this time.

Description: Based on review of three staff records, it was determined that the facility did not ensure that all staff had completed fingerprints on file prior to beginning employment. Evidence: 1. Staff #4 reported that staff #3 began work on on 1/22/19 and was observed on duty at the time of the inspection. 2. The fingerprints for staff #3 were dated 1/25/19 and was, therefore, received after beginning employment.

Plan of Correction: Center director will ensure that all fingerprints are completed prior to staff beginning employment.
