Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, 1/8/19. Upon arrival to the center the children were busy playing in the various centers available. The children then went outside and played on the playground. Lunch, hand washing, toileting and table sanitizing was also observed. There are 14 children in care ranging in age from 3 years to 5 years with two teaching staff and one kitchen staff. Should you have any questions please contact me. Inspection began: 10:30 am and ended 12:20 pm.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A
Description: Based on interviews the center did not have children's records at the center. Evidence: 1. During the inspection the LI requested to review a sampling of children's records. Staff # 1 stated that the main office personnel was at the center earlier and took all of the children's records with them to review. 2. The center has a notebook with emergency contact numbers for the children.

Plan of Correction: The main office will be contacted.
