Comments:
An unannounced Renewal inspection conducted this date. A total of 50 children with 8 staff present along with administration. Observation of all 4 classrooms was made today. Children were observed in circle time, singing Happy Birthday, dancing to the hokie pokie, and transitioning to snack time. Bathroom and hand washing procedures were observed. Children had individual lunch boxes for snack. Sanitization of tables was observed both before and after snack. Seasonal art work was on display in classrooms and hallways. A total of 5 children's records and 2 staff records were reviewed today. CPR/First Aid, MAT, daily health trainings were verified on site. Administrative staff files which include background checks and staff qualifications are reviewed at the administrative office annually. All medication reviewed and authorizations were found complete. Previous violations from the November inspection were reviewed and corrective actions were verified. This inspection began at 10am and ended at 11:30am. Thank you for your cooperation today.
