An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the director who was present with a total of 20 children- 3 and 4 years of age in two classrooms with 2 staff in each room. Three emergency medications were on site. A sample size of injuries/accidents were reviewed as well as four staff and six children's files. Arrival time: 10:05 am Departure time: 11: 45 am
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-A Description: Based on a review of four staff files and an interview with the director, it was determined that one staff did not have a tuberculosis test/screening on file within 21 days of volunteering. Evidence: Person A's first day at the preschool was on 9/4/18 and there was not tuberculosis test/screening on file. Plan of Correction: Person A will obtain the tuberculosis test/screening.
