An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 12:00pm-2:00pm. There were 40 children (12 mos-5yrs.) directly supervised by 7 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, singing songs, playing outside, and eating lunch. Lunch served today was white rice, bean sprout soup, chicken nuggets, and cole slaw. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. The center was clean and organized.
