Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted on February 6, 2019, between the hours of approximately 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., to review the supplemental health and safety requirements. Thirty-six (36) children were enrolled and twenty-nine (29) children were present, on this date. The children were in the care of three staff members. Five children's records were reviewed and five staff records were updated. No medication was on site/administered. Program observation was completed, including: indoor play/activities; snack (graham crackers and grapes); restroom and hand washing procedures; transitions; gym; homework and arrival/departure of children. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined covered all areas of the subsidy health and safety requirements. Only the subsidy requirements that were not covered in the licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were cited during this inspection. Please contact me (540.430.9262) if you have questions concerning this inspection, the subsidy health and safety requirements and/or if I may be of assistance.
