A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today from 10:50am-1:20pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 17 children were present with 3 staff. A sample of 5 children's records, 1 staff record, medications, emergency drills and other documents were reviewed. Children were observed during craft activities, handwashing, lunch and transitions to nap. Playground not inspected due to weather conditions. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-510-B Description: Based on records reviewed and observations, the written daily attendance did not document the arrival and departure of children as it occurred. Evidence: Upon inspector arrival, 17 children were observed in care. 22 children were documented present on the daily attendance. At approximately 12:00pm, 2 children were picked up and their departures were not documented by approximately 12:30pm. Plan of Correction: I will update my sign in/out sheet.
