Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was completed today. The physical plant, 5 staff files, 8 children's files, staff training, child nutrition, children's activities, medications, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 3:45-5:20pm. There were 83 children under the supervision of 7 staff. During the inspection, children played organized games in the gym, completed homework, worked on a Valentine's Day craft project and enjoyed free play. Today, the children were served soft pretzels with orange juice. The interactions between the children and staff were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. There are currently 3 staff certified in MAT (medication administration training). Should you have any questions, please contact me at mary.wizbicki@dss.virginia.gov.

Plan of Correction: This paperwork was given to the school liaison when staff #3 was hired. The assistant director (AD) has contacted the liaison, requesting this information several times. The most recent conversation was in January, when the liaison stated that they were not completing these checks anymore. The AD or Director will contact the liaison again about getting this completed.
