An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, 2/8/19. Upon arrival to the center children were exiting the bus and entering the center. The classrooms were busy in center play. The classrooms went outside to play on the playground. We discussed outdoor equipment and ways to monitor individual pieces of equipment. Lunch and nap time was also observed. There are 55 children in care with 19 staff present today. The ages of the children range from 10 months -four years. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your licensing inspector. Inspection began: 9:00 am and ended 12:00 pm.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B Description: Based on observation the center did not keep all hazardous substances in a locked place. Evidence: 1. The staff bathroom located in the hall between classrooms had a bottle of Bissell spot and stain removal on a shelf not locked. Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection.
