Discussed with the Director: Update and document basic emergency information like parent work information, Dr phone and emergency contacts. Also discussed documenting your monthly reviews of accident reports.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 10:10 and ending at 1:00. There were 69 children present supervised by 12 staff. All classrooms were in appropriate ratio. Children were observed at circle time , at storytime, doing art activity, and interacting with staff. Reviewed 5 staff files - complete Reviewed 8 children's files - complete Emergency escape drills, shelter in place drills and Lockdown drills were up to date as were Health and Fire Inspections Reviewed medications for 2 children - see violation notice Liability Insurance is current Accident reports were reviewed - discussed with the Director. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-A Description: Based on a review of the medications for two children, it was determined that one medication permission form was not correct. Evidence: The medication permission form for Child B authorized Prince William County Schools to administer the medication, not this Center. Plan of Correction: The Director notified the parent who notified the physician and the correct form will be faxed to the center.
