An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated today. The physical plant, 6 staff files, 5 children's files, annual fire and health inspection, staff training, child nutrition, children's activities, medications, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 12:15-2:20pm today. There were 83 children under the supervision of 13 staff. During the inspection, children were observed enjoying free play, listening to music, reading books, having a diaper changed (infant), enjoying tummy time (infants), eating lunch and cleaning up from lunch to prepare for quiet time. For lunch, the children were served chicken parmesan, noodles, green beans, oranges and milk. The interactions between the children and staff were seen to be positive and constructive in nature.
