Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from12:35pm to 1:56pm The children were observed resting on cots. Five children?s records and two employee records were reviewed during this inspection. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 02/26/2019 Last shelter-in-place drills: 08/30/2018 Total enrollment today: 14 Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed: Threes?6:1 Fours?8:1 The violations from the previous inspections were checked for corrections. Description: Based on observation on 02/27/2019, the center did not ensure that they had one working, battery-operated radio. EVIDENCE: The center did not have the batteries required to power the center's battery operated radio.

Plan of Correction: Maintenance will have the batteries by the end of the day.
