- Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance was provided regarding updating the Emergency Preparedness Plan.
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted between 9:30am & 2:00pm, there were 73 children with 10 direct staff members. Physical plant, programming, staff and children records, medications and emergency procedures were reviewed along with the supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted on the date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Evidence: Staff #1,2,3,4, & 5 do not have documentation of completion of the 10 hour Preservice training. Plan of Correction: I will make sure we all complete it.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-770-B-3-f Description: Based on review of the Emergency Preparedness Plan, it is not complete. Evidence: How we will be reuniting children with parents after an emergency is not explained in the plan. It only states "we will call the parents", but details not specified. Plan of Correction: We will update out plan.
