- Technical Assistance:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 10:30am to 12:30pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were observed engaged in a variety of activities during the center's "work cycle". They were later observed going outside and eating lunch. Their meals are delivered from a local agency. Today they had spaghetti with meat and veggie sauce, red pears and milk. All classrooms and the center's playground were inspected today. Five children's records and three employee records were reviewed during this inspection. Medication is not administered. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last fire drill: 02/07/2019 Last shelter in place drill (practiced monthly): 02/13/2019 Last lockdown drill (practiced monthly): 02/28/2019 Last Health Inspection: 01/04/2019 Last Fire Inspection: 04/30/2018 Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed: Balanced Mixed Age Group-12:2 A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements.
