Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 03/11/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 2:15pm-3:50pm. There were 29 children directly supervised by 4 staff. A sample of 5 children?s records, 4 staff records and 3 medications were reviewed. The children were observed during bathroom procedures, playing cards, listening to music, and playing a video game. Zero new staff have been hired since the last inspection. There were no violations found during this inspection. The exit interview was conducted with the administrative teacher. If you have any questions, contact Kimberly.Sawyer@dss.virginia.gov. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
