An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed today. The physical plant, 8 staff files, 5 children's files, annual fire and health inspections, staff training, child nutrition, children's activities, medications, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 12:45-2:00pm. There were 47 children under the supervision of 8 staff. During the inspection, children were observed working on crafts (making a Navaho rug), reading books, participating in circle time, cleaning up for and resting during naptime. For lunch, the children were served pancakes, chicken sausage, oranges (double serving), yogurt and milk.
