Discussion was held on the topics of current enrollment, current staffing, and upcoming teacher workday scheduled for next week.
The following inspection took place between the hours of 8:30 am through 10 am. Today, I met with the Staff of the preschool programs held at the Douglass Community Center located in the town of Leesburg, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 22 children with 4 staff; good ratios in both rooms. A total of 6 children?s files were reviewed. Staff files are reviewed on a separate date through the PRCS main office. The children were engaged in the following: bathroom break, hand washing, learning the days of the month, learning the letter "A," song, circle time, Spirit Fun Day (the combining of both rooms, giving the opportunity for the children as a large group to play with each other), toy play, games, and other organized activities. If you should have any future questions, please call or send an e-mail. Thank you. Charlie Perkins, Licensing Inspector (703) 309-3963
