Discussed new renewal application.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:10am-1:00pm. There were 22 children (3yrs-5yrs.) directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, drawing, participating in show and share, and eating snack. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice. Description: Based on record review and interview, documentation of evacuation drills was found to be missing or incomplete. Evidence: Required monthly evacuation drills were not documented for December 2018.

Plan of Correction: Due to limited school days and weather conditions we were not able to conduct a drill in December. We'll make it a priority to take advantage of any good day to conduct a drill.
