The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection Thursday, March 07, 2019 at 10:31 am. The children were observed engaged in a variety of activities. The infants were observed playing on the floor with their teachers. They were later observed eating lunch. Today lunch consisted of tuna noodle casserole, broccoli, apples and milk. The menu was posted. All classrooms were inspected today. The facility's playgrounds and mini bus were also inspected. Five children?s records and five employee records were reviewed during this inspection. The center administers medication, but didn't have any on site. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 02/13/2019 Shelter-in-place drills: 10/05/2018 Last fire inspection: 08/17/2018 Last health inspection: 01/14/2019 Total enrollment today: 31 Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed: Infants ?7:2 Toddlers and Twos ?10:2 Twos ? 8:2 Preschool & Pre-K -14:2 The violations from the previous inspections were checked for corrections. There were no repeat violations found during today?s inspection. If you have any questions about this inspection, please contact your licensing inspector, Roshon Casey, at (804) 662-9760. PROVIDER: Please complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from today. You will need to specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Just writing the word ?corrected? is not acceptable. Your plan of correction must contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventative measures.
