Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 3:45pm-4:45pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, 41 children were in care of 5 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time, outdoor activities and while engaged in both individual and group activities, such as music [learning to DJ], 3-D printing, crafts, board games, homework and reading. A selection of 2 staff, 5 children records, emergency drills and other documents were reviewed A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
