- Technical Assistance:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:30am-11:50am. A total of 12 children were observed in the care of 3 staff. A sample of 4 children's records, 3 staff records, emergency drills and other documents were reviewed. Children were observed transitioning to outdoor play. There were no medications on site. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A Description: Based on observations, areas inside the center were not maintained in safe condition. Evidence: An area of frayed carpeting approximately 16 inches long was observed in the main program area. Plan of Correction: Maintenance is aware and will be covering the area of frayed carpeting during the spring break.
