Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on March 29 2019 between 9:30am and 12:00pm. There were 27 children in the direct care of 3 staff members. Children were observed playing large group games in the gymnasium, writing, and playing cards. The center has plenty of age-appropriate materials for children to use. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-70-A
Description: Based on record review, 1 of 4 staffing records reviewed did not contain all of the required information. Evidence: Staff #2 does not have written information to demonstrate that the individual possesses the education required by the job position, such as a transcript or high school diploma.

Plan of Correction: We will make sure she brings it in.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-J
Description: Based on direct observation, the center did not ensure that all medication are kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Evidence: An oral medication was located in an upper cabinet that was not locked.

Plan of Correction: Was locked up during the inspection.
