An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today between approximately 1:30pm and 2:40pm. 54 children were directly supervised by 7 staff members. Ratios were in compliance. The children from the morning program had left for the day. The remainder of the children were observed napping, preparing to go outside or leaving for the day. The physical space, new staff records, 5 children's records, attendance, evacuation drills, the menu, 3 medications and required posted documents were reviewed. Much of the staff has remained consistent for a period of years. Medication management was in compliance and overall record keeping was in good order. The space contained an abundance of developmentally appropriate materials and classrooms/hallways were decorated with age appropriate art. No violations were cited today.
