An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on March 28 2019 between 9:00am and 11:15am. There were 26 children in the direct care of 6 staff members. Children were observed participating in circle time, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, singing, being diapered, and playing on the playground. Staff were observed leading group times, interacting with children on the playground, and working with children. The center is clean, organized, and offers plenty of age-appropriate materials for children to utilize. Areas of non-compliance are listed on the violation page. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B Description: Based on direct observation, the center did not have all hazardous materials kept in a locked place using a safe locking method. Evidence: In Room 2 a cleaning spray was located in an unlocked cabinet. In Room 5 a carpet scent powder was located in an unlocked cabinet. Plan of Correction: Not available online.
