Menus are posted both in the front entry and in each classroom. Please ensure that changes to the menu are documented in a timely manner so that they are aware of any changes.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from to 11:40 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. At the time of entrance the following adult to child ratios were observed: Classroom A: 8 children, ages 3 to 4 years old, with 2 staff Classroom B: 9 children, ages 3 to 4 years old, with 2 staff Classroom C: 10 children, ages 3 to 4 years old, with 2 staff Classroom D: 12 children, ages 3 to 4 years old, with 1 staff Classroom E: 16 children, ages 3 to 4 years old, with 2 staff Classroom F: 16 children, ages 3 to 4 years old, with 2 staff The records sample size consisted of 10 children?s records. Staff records are housed off site and were recently reviewed at a separate inspection. Children were observed sleeping and resting on cots during nap period, looking at book on their cot, eating an afternoon snack which consisted of broccoli with ranch dressing and milk, and playing outdoors. Hand washing, food service, restroom procedures, sanitizing procedures, dismissal / parent pick ups and transitioning to the Head Start bus were also observed. Medication administration was not observed. However, a sampling of 9 medications were reviewed with regard to storage, labeling, written authorization and required documentation. MAT (medication administration) Training and First Aid / CPR training was posted in the classrooms. Staff report no accidents or injuries requiring first aid or medical attention since the last inspection. Thank you for your time during today's inspection.
