Comments:
An unannounced Renewal Inspection was conducted from 10:30am-12:15pm. There were 52 children in the direct supervision of 5 staff members. The SACC program was open all day today due to it being a teacher work day. The first aid kit, 6 children's records, 5 staff training records, evacuation drills, emergency materials, and attendance were reviewed. The children were observed playing games, drawing, reading books, eating lunch, and preparing for their afternoon field trip. Any violations are listed on the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-C
Description: Based on a review of medications, 1 out of 5 medications was expired. Evidence: 1. Child #1's emergency medication expired on 1/2019.

Plan of Correction: We will contact the parent and ask them to pick up the expired medication and update the medication.
