A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on April 4, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. New subsidy requirements became effective on October 17, 2018. The on-site inspection was from 1:40 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. On this date, there were 31 children present in one group and in the care of four staff members. There were 86 children enrolled in the center. One staff member's record was reviewed at Kid Central Administration Office and five children's records were reviewed. Four staff members and five children were interviewed. The medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for six children. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
