Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 4/5/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 64 children were present with 12 caregivers. The children were engaged in the following: reading books, engaging in circle time, playing with modeling clay, eating snack. Programming, menus, emergency procedures, 4 medications, and 7 children?s records and 7 staff records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Description: Based on review of children's records, 1 of 7 records reviewed did not contain a written allergy care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction. Evidence: 1. Child #3 has a diagnosed food allergy and the file does not contain an allergy care plan signed by the child's doctor regarding instructions on steps to be taken in the event of an allergic reaction.

Plan of Correction: We will make sure to get the allergy care plan signed by the child's doctor.
