- Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance was provided regarding the injury prevention plan, emergency drill documentation and medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:15am-10:45am. There were 54 school age children directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff certifications, 5 children?s records, 5 medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, coloring and drawing, playing with legos, reading books, and eating lunch. Lunch is brought in from home. Children washed hands before eating lunch. The program will be leaving for a field trip as today is a teacher work day for the elementary school. Children were provided with stickers to wear on the field trip detailing phone numbers and the name of the program and safety rules were reviewed prior to departure. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized.
