Technical Assistance:
Discussed the outdoor wood tire swing structure and different ways to prevent splintering.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:30 am-12:15pm. At the time of entrance, 66 children were in care with 14 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time(cherrios and milk), cleaning up from snack, washing hands, playing with musical instruments, group art activities, playing at the sand table, handwriting activities, singing in Spanish with Wee Speak Spanish instructor, engaged in group activities and outdoor play time. Interactions between the children and staff were positive. A selection of staff and children records, the physical space, evacuation drills, attendance records, injury reports, medications and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed.
