A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 04/09/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements Present during the inspection were 40 children, ages 3 months-5 years, in the direct care and supervision of eight staff members. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records, 5 staff records and 3 medications. The children were observed in the following activities: during lunch, during nap and participating in free choice activities. Infants were observed being fed and allowed to sleep on demand. The inspector reviewed the requirement for the infant logs, the parent handbook, the emergency preparedness plans and the emergency supplies during the inspection. The inspector discussed subsidy updates with the staff. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety were found.
