An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 10:30am to 12:00pm. Classroom ratios were in compliance. The physical space, 6 staff records, 5 children's records, attendance records, evacuation drills, injury reports and required posted documents were reviewed. Children were observed getting portraits taken for "Picture Day" and the Pre-k class had a guest speaker teaching the basics of cooking. Today was the beginning of Spring Break for Loudoun County. Interactions between staff and children were positive. Classrooms were clean, well organized and contained developmentally appropriate materials throughout. No violations were cited today.
