Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from approximately 9:40 am to 12:00 pm to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. During this inspection, the children in care were observed by the licensing inspector in the various classroom settings. The census for today's inspection consisted of 42 children with 10 staff present including administrative staff. The licensing inspector completed observations of the children in care completing a variety of activities to include participating in circle time, learning about the letter K, the color orange, and the number 8, working in various centers, and participating in an outdoor egg hunt. The children were also observed transitioning for lunch and eating lunch. The children's lunch today consisted of baked chicken legs, spinach, mixed fruit, whole wheat bread, and milk. The center's bathrooms, three designated classrooms, indoor and the outdoor areas were inspected by the licensing inspector. The required posting were reviewed by the inspector. There were six children?s records and reviewed during this inspection. Medication is being administered, medications, and written authorizations were reviewed for the center's compliance. There are multiple staff with current MAT, and Daily Health Observation training on site. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected.
