An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted from 7:15 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. There were 30 children in care being supervised by 4 staff members. The children were observed participating in table top activities, cooperative games, and preparing for breakfast. Eight staff records were reviewed. Four staff records were reviewed. An allergy list was reviewed for children enrolled in the program with diagnosed food allergies. Allergy care plans were reviewed for those children with diagnosed food allergies. Staff training was reviewed for completion of CPR, First Aid, and Virginia Pre-Service Training. The most recent Lock Down drill was conducted 01/08/2019. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-520-B-11 Description: Based on review of the allergy list and staff interview it was determined that not all children with diagnosed food allergies had documentation of a written allergy care plan on file. Evidence: Child A and Child B with diagnosed food allergies did not have documentation of a written allergy care plan. Plan of Correction: Administration will request an written allergy care plan from the parents of Child A and Child B.
