A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today from 6:40am to 8:00am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 25 children under the supervision of 2 staff. Children were observed playing freely in groups and in individual activities, washing hands for breakfast, arriving to care, and getting ready for school. There were no medications on site today. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials that were developmentally appropriate for the children in care. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements.
