Discussed: pillows used during rest time are required to have pillow cases; ensuring that children have an individual place for personal belongings for security and contamination reasons
- Comments:

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 1:45 - 3:45 pm with the director and assistant director. There were 17 children in care, ranging from three years to five years of age, supervised by two staff. The children were observed eating snack, which is brought from home, washing hands, playing with legos and trains and having rest time. Four children's files, four staff files, and two corporation agent's files were reviewed and in compliance. Three medications and authorization forms were reviewed and in compliance. The playground, emergency escape drill log, and annual training hours documentation were all observed and in compliance. The last health inspection was: 4/10/2019 and the last fire inspection was: 4/27/2018. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-260-A Description: Based on a review of documentation, it was determined that the facility did not have an up to date fire inspection report. Evidence: The most recent fire inspection report on file was dated 4/27/18. Plan of Correction: Fire inspection is scheduled for tomorrow.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-450-A Description: Based on observation, it was determined that not all cots used by children had linens consisting of a top cover and bottom cover during rest time. Evidence: approximately ten children did not have any linen on their cots. Plan of Correction: During today's inspection we emailed families to request extra sheets be sent in, talked with teachers to retrain them on standards, and will follow up with extended day families to remind them of guidelines.
