An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 1:00pm-2:30pm. There were 75 children directly supervised by 11 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 6 children?s records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. No medications were present during today's inspection. Infants were observed playing on the floor mats with a teacher and being fed. In the other classrooms, children were observed sleeping or settling quietly on their cots.. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized. No violations were cited during today's inspection.
