A subsidy health and safety inspection was completed on April 29, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspector arrived at 10:15AM and concluded the inspection at 12:15PM. The center's director assisted the inspector throughout this inspection. There was a total of 66 children in attendance. During the inspection, children were observed singing, letter and journal writing, and cleaning up to from center time. Three groups of children were observed outside taking a wagon ride, playing on the climbing equipment and exploring bubbles with their teachers. The center had the following posted: license, daily schedules, emergency numbers, evacuation maps, and the menu. The center's first aid kit and non emergency supplies were inspected. Medication, authorizations and allergy action plans were inspected. Multiple staff have current CPR and first aid and medication administration training (MAT). Transportation is provided and the buses along with the transportation information were inspected. Seven staff records, six children's records, fire drill, shelter in place, and lockdown drills were reviewed during today's inspection. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the licensing inspector, Heather Dapper (804) 662-7014
