Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from approximately 9:30 am to 12:30 pm determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. During this inspection, the children in care were observed by the licensing inspector in the various classroom settings. The census for today's inspection consisted of 99 children with 25 staff present including volunteers and administrative staff. The licensing inspector completed observations of the children in care completing a variety of activities to include participating in circle time activities, facilitating classroom activities, identifying the month, day, and year, numbers, letters, and days of the week, brushing their teeth, completing bathroom breaks, working in a variety of centers, transitioning from outside play, preparing for lunch, and eating lunch. The children's lunch today consisted of turkey, cheese, sandwich, whole grain roll, lettuce and tomato, diced pears, and milk. The licensing inspector also completed observations of parent drop off. The center's classrooms, diapering station, bathrooms, designated childcare areas were inspected by the licensing inspector. The required posting were reviewed by the inspector. There were 14 children?s records reviewed during this inspection. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Medication is being administered, medications, and written authorizations were reviewed for the center's compliance. There were no violations cited during this inspection.
