Standard #: 22VAC40-185-340-D
Complaint related: No
Description: Based on staff interviews and review of staff records, the center failed to ensure there was at least one staff member who met the qualifications of program leader for each grouping of children. Evidence: On February 14, 2019, three staff members were assigned to the 'closing' classroom with children ranging in age from two years to eight years of age. Of the three staff members, Staff #1 was under the age of 18 years old, Staff #2 had 3 days of programmatic experience at the center and Staff #3 had 14 days of programmatic experience at the center.
