A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 5/6/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 5/6/19. There were 153 children present. Ten children's records and ten staff records were reviewed. Six medications were reviewed for five children in care. Two inspectors arrived at the center at 10:30 am and departed at 5:00 pm. The children were observed during outside times, during free time in the classrooms, during lunch, during nap, and during afternoon activities. All infant activities were observed. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
