Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance was provided regarding raking the mulch under the fall zones and trimming the tree branch's hanging over the playground structure.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:30am-12:30pm. There were 55 children supervised by 10 direct care staff. The physical plant, staff records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, playing outside, and eating snack. There was an abundance of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-500-A
Description: Based on observation, not all children's hand washed their hands with running soap and water before/after eating meals or snacks. Evidence: Children in the 4's classroom, did not wash their hands with running water and soap after eating snack.

Plan of Correction: We will make sure all children wash their hands with soap and running water before and after having meals and or snack.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-G
Description: Based on observation, not all food brought from home was clearly labeled. Evidence: A lunch box located in the 3's classroom was not labeled.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection, we usually check and have a label on everyone's lunch box.
