Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted today, May 2, 2019. The on-site inspection was from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. On this date, there were 41 children in four classrooms and in the care of eight staff members. Two staff members were available to assist if needed. The total enrollment for the program was 47 children. There were five staff records reviewed and two staff records updated. Five children's records reviewed. Four classrooms were toured and observations were made in two of those rooms. Seven staff members and four children were interviewed. The medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for one child, and two over-the-counter skin products and their authorizations were reviewed. All food was brought from home. The theme for the week was Flowers. Some items that were reviewed and observed included: circle time, singing, calendar, art activities, flower painting, table games and activities, hand washing and bathroom procedures, diapering procedures, infant care, lunch, nap time, injury reports, required posted information, documentation of evacuation, shelter-in-place, and lockdown drills, emergency supplies, first aid kit, water temperature, and resilient surfacing. There were no violations of the licensing standards.
