Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 9:45 a.m. and ending at 12:30 p.m. with the center director. There were 30 children in care ranging in age from 8 months through 5 years old under the care and supervision of 5 staff. Infants were observed sleeping, having play time on the floor and being fed. Toddlers were observed during transition time, preparing for outdoor time. Two year olds were observed playing with play doh and learning shapes. Preschoolers were observed at various centers that included painting, legos, play doh and drawing/writing. The PreK class was observed during centers that included a sensory table, legos and a writing project. The outdoor play areas and playground were inspected. Seven children's records and three staff records were reviewed. There are no medications on site. Emergency drills were reviewed. Description: Based on observation, cleaning and sanitizing materials were stored above food equipment and single-serve articles. In the toddler room, a plastic tub of cleaners and air fresheners were stored on the shelf above paper plates, plastic utensils and cups.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during the inspection. Staff will be reminded to store cleaners and food service items separately

Description: Based on review of documentation, the center failed to document monthly practice evacuation drills. Evidence: There was no fire drill documented for April 2019.

Plan of Correction: There was a drill practiced in April. Documentation will be reviewed and the drill documented as required.
