Training regarding the changes to the vendor agreement standards were conducted during this inspection.
The vendor is present with 4 children in care, during this annual subsidy health and safety inspection. The vendor has moved so this is an announced inspection. The vendor has 7 points today. The children were observed playing and doing art work and doing lots of dancing with the vendor. The vendor provides food for the children, they had oranges for snack and will have chicken stew for lunch. The vendor also transport the children and take them to the local park. The new home has a large basement that is used for care, lots of different spaces to play in and materials to explore. A great shelter in place space that doubles as a reading and hang out space for the after school children. This inspection was started at 10:00 and ended at 11:15. Please call me at 703-203-8659 if you have any questions regarding this inspection.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-160-B Description: Based on the review of the paperwork and interview with the vendor the vendor failed to keep a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: The vendor has been using the food program bubble sheet to keep attendance. Plan of Correction: I will use the attendance sheet in my food program calendar to keep attendance.
